Toltec Fall Carnival

Friday, October 29

Don’t miss the Toltec School Fall Carnival Friday, October 29, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Toltec Middle School, 3315 N. Toltec Road. There will be food booths selling hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, nachos, beverages and more. The various games and activity booths will include the dunk tank, a new games trailer, cupcake walks, stuff-your-own teddy bears, a rock wall, face-painting, inflatable bouncers and slides, ring- and basketball-toss games, raffles, bingo and music to name just some of the exciting activities being planned. Come join us for a fun evening, and help support the school.

Volunteers to work at the carnival or work a carnival booth are always welcome.

Some of the raffle items given away at previous Toltec Fall Carnival have included: a portable DVD player, video recorder, various video gaming systems, a George Foreman grill, an air compressor, a Shop Vac with blower, a Polaroid 35mm Camera with film, a DVD player, a Sanyo four-head Hi-Fi stereo VCR, a home audio system, a dual handset cordless telephone, a 25-piece cutlery and gadget set by Farberware, a smoothie machine, camp chairs, a mobile work center, a First Alert combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector, a joggable CD player, a combination CD player-radio, a mini disco light set, a 24-CD storage tower and a whole lot more. What might be up for grabs in this year’s raffle? Keep reading this newspaper and/or attend a meeting of the Toltec PTO.

The Toltec Elementary School District Parent-Teachers Organization will be holding a meeting today, Wednesday, September 22 starting at 4:30 p.m. in the library at Toltec Elementary School, 12115 Benito Drive.
